These terms apply to your use of the NanoCount app and the website nanocount.app, offered by Digital Sandbox BV, Hattem (Dutch Chamber of Commerce 42124304) (we).
1. Using the app
NanoCount is a countdown and count-up app for personal use. You may use it on the devices tied to your Apple account, subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula).
2. Free version and NanoCount Pro
The app is free and fully usable. NanoCount Pro is a one-time purchase (not a subscription) that unlocks extras such as photo backgrounds, premium counter styles, extra app icons, and advance reminders. The purchase and any refund are handled by Apple and governed by App Store policy. For a refund, contact Apple.
3. Your data and backups
Your events and photos live locally on your device; we have no access to them and do not back them up. If you delete an event or the app, that data is gone. Use the built-in backup feature (export and import) if you want to safeguard your data. We are not liable for data loss.
4. Availability and no warranty
We do our best to keep NanoCount working well, but the app and website are provided as is, without warranties. Countdowns and notifications are a helper; do not rely on them alone for situations where a missed alert has serious consequences. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages arising from use of the app.
5. Intellectual property
The NanoCount name, logo, design, and the content of the app and website are ours. You may not copy or reuse them without permission. Events and photos you add remain yours.
6. Changes
We may update these terms and the app. We will announce significant changes through the app or the website. The date at the top reflects the latest version.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the Netherlands.
