Days between two dates
Count the exact number of days from one date to another. Pick a start and an end date and the calculator shows the days between them, in weeks and months too, with an option to count both days.
To find the number of days between two dates, subtract the earlier date from the later one. For example, there are 30 days from June 1 to July 1, or 31 if you count both the start and end day. Enter any two dates above for the exact result in days, weeks and months.
How it works
The calculator subtracts the two calendar dates at midnight, so there is no time-of-day or daylight-saving drift. The plain result is the number of nights between the dates. Ticking include both the start and end day counts inclusively, which adds one day, the way you would count the length of a holiday or an event.
Every calendar day counts, weekends and holidays included. If you need working days only, or working days minus public holidays, use the working days calculator instead.

Counts are exclusive by default (the number of nights between the dates). Counting both the start and end day adds one.

Should I include the end day?

Divide the total days by seven. The calculator shows this for you: the whole weeks plus any leftover days. For example, 30 days is 4 weeks and 2 days.
Does it count weekends and holidays?
Yes. This calculator counts every calendar day. For working days only, use the working days calculator, which can also subtract public holidays.
Does it handle leap years?
Yes. February 29 is included in leap years, so a span that crosses a leap day counts the extra day automatically.
